ACT 4 SA empowers the San Antonio community through year-round base building, grassroots actions, educational campaigns, and more to achieve the accountable, compassionate, and transparent public safety system we all deserve.

ACT 4 SA is the first grassroots organization in San Antonio to focus solely on police reform. Composed of former organizers and volunteers of the Prop B initiative, ACT 4 SA is here to answer the community’s calls for accountability through education and activism. Together, we can build a safer, more just San Antonio for all.

Job Description Overview:

ACT 4 SA is seeking a bilingual advocacy organizer (English-Spanish) who is highly motivated, creative and committed to public safety reform. Working under the supervision of the Advocacy Director, the community organizer will be directly responsible for developing relationships with community members and civic leaders to establish an active group of community leaders who can effectively advocate for criminal justice reform, the accountability of elected officials, and effective policy reforms across Texas. Additionally, the organizer will play a key role in planning and implementing campaign activities to exercise grassroots power, and developing a sustained and democratic organization.

***Salary: $42,000 for 35 hours per week of work.
